I specialise in the management of acute, common and rare illness in children including fits, headache, wheeze, asthma, eczema, food allergies, constipation,urine infections feeding disorders, and food intolerances. In the UK, I dedicated time to working in the fields of general paediatrics, paediatric neuro-disability and epilepsy. The medical experience in Oman and India has given me unique skills in the assessment of infectious diseases and consanguinity-related rare conditions in children. My communication skills and passion for treating children, allow me to establish a rapport with my patients and their families. As an experienced paediatrician, I am confident with the management of a wide repertoire of medical conditions beginning in the new-born period and through adolescence. Having received the National Merit Scholarship from the Indian government and the Appreciation Award for excellence in Paediatrics by the Ministry of Health, Oman, I was ready to begin my career with the diverse population in the UK.įor the past two decades, I have served patients in the UK and taught medical students and paediatric trainees. After completing my specialty training in paediatrics, I worked in Oman before moving to the UK. My medical education began at the Ambedkar University in Maharashtra, India. I am a consultant paediatrician and educator at Nottingham University hospitals.
